ABOUT AKYEDE PHOTOGRAPHY

Akyede Photography was created by Akua Botwewood in 2020. Akyede aims to connect people to each other as well as aspects of modern Ghanaian culture in a new and artistic way.

"Akyede is a word in the Akan dialect of Twi.

I chose the name Akyede because it is unique. It is translated to the English word “gift” which is important because I believe that photography is my God-given gift as well as the fact that I want it to be a gift to those in my community."
